Rider Eligibility
Not every rider who ever lined up at a gate makes it into the game pool. Here's how we decide who's eligible — so every name in your field has a real, comparable career behind it.
The baseline rule
A rider becomes eligible once they've logged two or more seasons across both Supercross and Pro Motocross. That means at least one Supercross season and one Pro Motocross season — or multiple seasons across either series totaling two or more. This keeps one-off fill-ins and part-timers out of the field and gives every rider a stat line worth comparing.
What counts as a season
- A full or partial Supercross season (250SX or 450SX) with at least one start.
- A full or partial Pro Motocross season (250MX or 450MX) with at least one start.
- Supermotocross (SMX) playoff events are tracked separately and don't count toward the two-season baseline on their own.
Active vs. retired
Riders are flagged as active based on recent participation in either series. Use the Active only filter to narrow your field to riders currently racing, or Retired only to focus on legends.
Why some riders are missing
- A rider hasn't yet hit the two-season threshold across both series.
- Our data import is ongoing — newer or less-documented riders may not have been processed yet.
- A rider's career predates reliable public records and couldn't be verified.

Where the data comes from
Rider career stats — seasons, wins, podiums, championships, manufacturers, and teams — are pulled from public racing results databases. We refresh active riders regularly to keep current seasons up to date.
